Napier's newest statue - Anne Elizabeth Jerome Spencer, founder and leader of the New Zealand Women's Institute.

The statue was unveiled to mark the 100th anniversary of the first meeting of a NZWI at Rissington, Hawke's Bay on 27 February 1921. Sculpted by Gerard McCabe and gifted by the NZWI.
